About this project

I work in the Singapore built environment industry. Like everyone here, I have watched good submissions fail on data trivia — a parameter misspelled, an enum value that was never in the allowed list, a property set that silently dropped on export. The information needed to get it right exists, but it is scattered across PDFs, portal pages, and hard-won personal experience.

CORENET X changed the game: the regulator now checks the model, not the drawing. That makes the requirements data — and data can be organised, versioned, and checked by machines.

So this project does one thing: it restructures the official CORENET X / IFC-SG guidance into a machine-readable truth layer that any tool — a Revit script, a compliance checker, an AI assistant — can rely on. Every fact carries its provenance. Conflicts between official sources are recorded, never silently resolved. Nothing here is invented; when something cannot be confirmed, it is marked pending rather than guessed.

It is open source (CC BY 4.0) because a single source of truth only works if everyone can see it, question it, and improve it. If you spot an error, open an issue — with a link to the official source, so the fix carries proof.

All credit for the underlying content belongs to BCA's official CORENET X programme and the participating agencies — this project only reorganises what they publish. It is an independent effort with no affiliation to any agency. See the disclaimer for scope.
